As of 1/319/25 the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for 2025 SFD Camp Staff, Admission Monitors, Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Seasonal Intern and Park Ambassadors until April 1, 2025.

Job Application-Employees looking to return for 2025 summer season Completed application can be mailed addressed to PARKS AND RECREATION using the address on the top of the application; scan or email to parksandrec@monroect.gov; or you can drop it off to our office. This application is for staff who worked for us summer 2024. All are encouraged to reapply, but there is no guarantee of rehire. Lifeguard certification must be through American Red Cross.

Seasonal positions are ongoing until filled. This is new hire application. All are encouraged to apply and select one position you are interested in as return staff has first priority. You must be 16 years of age or older to apply for most positions. We do not hire any individuals under this age and we do not give interviews to everyone. Lifeguard certification must be through the American Red Cross. Anyone wishing to apply for parks maintenance and gardeners MUST go through the Public Works Department. We started this in the 2024 season.

Parks and Recreation Department Intern 2025 The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department is seeking motivated individuals who are pursuing a college degree in the field of Parks and Recreation from an accredited that need to obtain an internship opportunity for Spring 2025 and/or Summer 2025.
