As of 8/25/25 the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for for Admission Monitors, Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Diving Coach, Aerobics Instructor, Zumba Instructor and Line Dancing Teacher (We will accept applications until all positions are filled but we can't always guarantee an interview)

If you are interested in a Gardener or Parks Maintenance you must contact Public Works at 203-452-2814 and to speak with Bill Phillips as of July 1, 2024.

Job Application-For 2025_2026 school year seasonal work This application is for prospective individuals looking to be employeed for seasonal work who are 16 years of age or older for school year employment. We do take appllications until all our positions are filled. If your application fits our needs, we reach out to schedule an interview. Unfortunately, not all applicants will be given one. Job Description - Admissions Monitor Applications are now being accepted for the 2025-2026 school year season. Must be 16 years of age or older and be available weekday afternoons, early evening and on weekends.
Job Description - Lifeguard We are seeking current certfied lifeguards to work Masuk Pool week nights. Must be 16 years of age or older. This is seasonal school year position as we follow the school calander for use of the pool with our programming. Must be 16 years of age or older at time of submission of application.
