Summer Fun Days Tweens Adventure Camp is ready to go for the Summer of 2026!
We are excited to have eight weeks of FUN!
This camp is for youth who have completed grade 5 through completed grade 8 as of the June 2026.
All participants will have have an opportunity at least once a week to swim at the pool and/or lake, hike trails, play group games and do sports.
We hit the road for field trip three days a week for some great adventures.
Specific schedules, permission waivers both in hard copy or electronically must be completed by parent and a list of items that are allowed by each venue will be shared as it get closer to the trip. Be advised, that departure times from Wolfe Park may need to be earlier than 9:00 am or pick up might be past 4:00 pm. We are an outdoor program and not offer partial weeks, half days or early drop off/extended day unless it's part of our departure/pick up schedule. Under no circumstances can a participant not take the provided transportation. All must use our bus! If your child misses the bus, you will have to stay back with the regular summer camp.
In case of inclement weather, we will be housed at one of the Monroe Public Schools and trips, special events and daily activities may change. Our alert system will be set up for you to join to receive email messages to your family account at the time of registration. It is your responsibility to make sure a valid email address is on file in your account that your check often, plus activate by selecting YES to receive ALL emails blast.
You can see how many spaces are available in each session. If a session is full, please make sure you add your child to the wait list and follow all registration instructions to complete like your doing a full registration. This is free and if we have openings, we will contact you in the order that it's completed and secure your fee in order to move your child to the program. Last year, our Tweens Adventure Program filled up so quickly, that we anticipate for this to happen again this summer.
When registering on our website, please note that any items in your check out cart will only hold for 15 minutes. You must pay in full at the time of registration directly on website. If you need to do a payment plan you MUST contact the office to complete registration to obtain your spots.
Please note a minimum of 24 participants is needed to be able to run each session of the field trip weeks and the maximum is 40.

Regular pricing is from 12:00 am on 3/14/26 until the end of each session becoming filled

Make sure understand our refund/cancellation policy before completing registration. It can be found on our webpage and in the section below in a PDF version in the additional forms section. We can't transfer your fee from this program to another camp/summer activity.
Again, this summer we will no be accepting forms that are sent as photos. Legible PDF's are welcomed to be emailed in and can be dropped off at our office. This must be completed the Thursday prior to each session your child attends. If your child is attending multiple sessions the paperwork work is good for the entire summer.

All accounts track on our management side when someone tries to register with date & time stamp. Please make sure you are using the correct account and be mindful NOT to make another one. This effects our ability for you to receive important information throughout the summer and to see if you actually did your registration during our early bird dates. If your having problems, please contact our office immediately for assistance.
We reserve the right to change any trips/make alternative options due to inclement weather or for other unforeseen circumstances. We do NOT refund any camp fees if you keep your child home for any reason, unless it follows our refund/cancellation policies. All participants are expected to fully join in what we have planned as there is no alternate choice when we are off site. All campers must use the transportation provided by our camp both ways. Please make sure you have your child at camp for the correct departure times. We will not be able to wait for late arrivals or have you go to the destination. For pick-up, there may be times that we come back later than 4pm because of traffic. Communications will be sent out as it gets closer.
Our staff attends workshops with the CRPA (CT Recreation and Parks Association) and completes a camp training period the includes CPR, First Aid and use of the AED & Epi Pen's, plus we hold additional trainings for mandated Reporters & Concussion and senior staff members have Med Administration.
All of our staff selected go through an interview process, get recommendations from previous employers/teachers and complete a background check and a drug screening by the Town of Monroe. Typically our staff are former campers and current/college students who are pursuing a degree in the fields of education, nursing, school counseling, recreations, sports management. We have staff involved in our program that are current professionals in parks and recreation and are parents themselves.
