2025-2026 Boys Youth Recreational Basketball League Grade 3 through 8 • Register • View Cart •

Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 Monroe Youth Basketball League for boys in grades 3 through 8. (This is different from the girls program)

Program meets on various week nights for practices and uses Monroe Public School gyms throughout town. 

Games are either one week night or Saturday on a rotating time basis. Final schedules will be released once gym permits are complete and registration is done.

We do not have practices or games when Monroe Public Schools are closed for holidays and weather early dismissal/closures.

The season runs November through late February. (Any weather related issues may cause us to add time at the end to complete program)

All participants will get a team T-Shirt. (If you do not order the correct size for your player at time of initial registration, there will be an additional $10.00 charge to re-order an additional shirt) 

Site coordinators and certified basketball officials will be at each game. 

Boys Division are:
Grades 3 & 4
Grades 5 & 6
Grades 7 & 8

We need adult volunteer coaches to help with the various levels. All prospective coaches MUST pass a background check before being selected by our long time basketball director, Jacqui Sheftz.

If you successfully coach through the entire season, we will give you a credit of $25.00 for head coaches/$15.00 for assistant coaches to be used for another program in the future with our department. There is a max of two coaches for each team. 

All participants need appropriate athletic clothing and sneakers, a filled water bottle for each game/practice. 

Fee is $200.00 per child if registered by October 6, 2025. Fee increases to $250.00 as of 10/7/25. Registration deadline is one week prior to evaluation night or until divisions fill up. 

Make sure you include a valid email address that you check regularly as we communicate information by email and that you understand our refund/cancellation policy before making the decision to enroll.

Team rules, schedules and expectations of behavior for participants and spectators will be posted soon.
