Monroe Parks and Recreation Friday Night Ski and Snowboard Program 2025 Registration is here!

There are some different procedures this year so please read carefully before signing up!

This is a five week ski/snowboard program which includes coach bus transportation from Monroe Town Hall (7 Fan Hill Road-Monroe)  to Mohawk Mountain, 46 Great Hollow Road, Cornwall CT, 06753.

The program is for Monroe youth residents only in current grades of 6-12.

Strict rules of conduct for all participants on the bus and at Mohawk Mountain will be enforced by Monroe Parks and Recreation Department staff, parent volunteer chaperones and Mohawk Mountain staff. VIOLATORS WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE PROGRAM WITHOUT REFUND.

A helmet is mandatory.

All fees are for the full five weeks and include transportation and lift ticket, (optional add on's if you need equipment or want to take lessons is a different fee)  there are no refunds or partial payments. At check out, please review the Monroe Parks and Recreation and Mohawk Mountain waivers you will be signing electronically for the ski trip. Do not register if you have a school, sport, vacation or other conflict on any or all of the Friday nights in January, February, or March. All Lift tickets, bus seats, equipment rental and lessons not used are non-transferable to anyone. We do NOT refund if you can't make a night! 

Ski Trips are on Fridays, 1/10/25, 1/17/25, 1/24/25, 1/30/25, and 2/7/25.

Make up nights are February 21st & Feb 28th. Make-up nights are only used if the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department/Mohawk cancels a trip and reschedules it.

Multi Visit 5 Pack Fridays, Bus + Equipment  $390.00 +$210.00 =$600.00
Multi Visit 5 Pack Fridays, Bus, Equipment + Lessons $390.00 +$385.00 =$775.00 

Once you have signed up and paid for the 5 day lift pass + bus ticket on the Parks and Recreation website and answer all the questions you will receive a receipt via email to hold this spot.  You will not hear from us again until December 2, 2024 when office staff will contact you to pay the additional fee of one of the add on packages and the mountain waiver link will be sent to you.  Once both of these additional items are completed your child is officially part of the program. Please review the info letter and the town waiver form below. 

Participants will have full range of Mohawk Mountain. This is an independent trip where participants will be on their own on the Mountain. Monroe Parks and Recreation chaperones and Mohawk Mountain Staff will be located in the lodge and out on the mountain for participants to check in, ask questions and seek any help.

The transfer option to allow another person to take a week from you in NO LONGER occurring. Make sure you can commit to all weeks before registering. We stopped doing this in the 2023 season and will not bring back in 2025
