Team placement evaluation nights are as followed:


Evaluations: 
Monday 11/18:  Fawn Hollow:
Boys 3/4 last names beginning A-L 6pm-7pm; M-Z 7pm-8pm.
Draft occurs 8pm-9pm Coaches Only.

Tuesday 11/19: Fawn Hollow:  
Girls 3/4 last names beginning A-L 6pm-7pm; M-Z 7pm-8pm.
Draft occurs 8pm-9pm Coaches Only.

Wednesday 11/20: Stepney:
Girls 5/6 6pm-7pm
Girls 7/8 7pm-8pm 
Draft occurs during evaluations

Thursday 11/21: Jockey Hollow:
Boys 5/6 last names beginning A-L 6pm-7pm; M-Z 7pm-8pm
Draft occurs 8pm-9pm Coaches Only.

Friday 11/22: Stepney: 
Boys 7/8 6-7pm
Draft occurs 7pm-8pm Coaches Only.

If your child can't make any of the assigned nights. The department will place your child on a team after all the divisional nights are completed. 

Basketball registrations are complete as of 11/4/24. If still interested you MUST go on the wait list. There is NO guarantee we can add your child. 
 

Early Bird Pricing ended on 10/18/24 at midnight.

Registration is still open through 10/31/24 unless a division is FULL. Free wait list available. When we have 10 players on the wait list for a FULL division,  we will allow all 10 to register so another team can be formed. 

Time to play some basketball!

Registration is open for our recreational league for our Monroe youth residents who are currently in grade 3-8. 

The divisions are as follows:

Boys grade 3 & 4
Boys grade 5 & 6
Boys grade 7 & 8
Girls grade 3 & 4
Girls grade 5 & 6
Girls grade 7 & 8

You must register for the grade you are in for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Program meets on various week nights for practices and use Monroe Public Schools gyms throughout town. Games are either one weeknight or a Saturday on a rotating time basis. Final schedules will be released once gym permits are complete and registration is done.

We do not have practices or games when Monroe Public Schools are closed for holidays and weather early dismissals/closures. 

The season runs November through Late February. (Any weather related issues may cause us adding additional time to complete program)

All participants will get a team T-shirt. Site coordinators and certified basketball officials will be at each game. 

Girls Divisions of 5/6 & 7/8 are not playing in Newtown this year. We are going to keep the girls in Monroe and participate in a program that plays on some Sundays so make sure you get your friends to join. Need a minimum of 32 for those two divisions. 

Girls Division of 3 & 4, Boys 3-8 will be playing their normal league play all in Monroe on Saturdays and/or a weeknight. Schedules will be finalized once we know how many teams we will have in each division.   

Individuals who make our youth travel teams for any grade but 8th grade boys will be allowed to the play recreation and travel, but must make sure the commitment is there for both teams.

We needs adult volunteers to help coach various levels and all adults will have to go through a background check before being assigned a team from our basketball director. 
All participants need to have appropriate athletic clothing and sneakers, with a filled water bottle for each game/practice. 

Fee is $199.00 per child for the Early Bird Pricing from 10/2/24-10/18/24. From 10/19/24-10/31/24 the fee will be $249.00.  Please make sure you are aware of our refund/cancellation policy before signing up.
