Calling all morning pickle ballers who want to fine tune their strokes! Join us this spring for some lessons at the Wolfe Park Courts. Monroe Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with Fairfield County Tennis Program who have some expert pickleball instructors on their staff that will give some morning lessons. Register online at monroect.myrec.com and follow payment instructions. Beginner: Player has either never played pickleball or is a novice at playing.  Advanced Beginner: Player has had some court experience, but needs to refine their skills and learn the game better.  Low Intermediate: Player is starting to keep the ball in play, learning to serve, can volley, learning court positioning.This program is for new players or players who know very little of pickleball.All participants should bring their own paddle, wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Don't forget to bring your filled water bottle too! Register by May 6, 2026 or until filled. We can't prorate if you start later in the session.

Calling all pickleball players!Looking to have a spot to play during your summer mornings? Why not join our OPEN PLAY pickleball program. This is joint program with the Monroe Senior Center and the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department.Come and meet new people, play pickleball and get some fresh air and exercise at the Wolfe Park Courts. All levels are welcomed, but this is not lessons or a clinic program. It is group play and you should have the basic knowledge of pickleball. Bring your own racquet and ball to share. You should also wear comfortable clothing and proper footwear to be on the courts. We supply four courts (8A, 8B, 7A & 7B) and nets at select times on certain Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Calling all morning pickle ballers who want to fine tune their strokes! Join us this spring for some lessons at the Wolfe Park Courts. Monroe Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with Fairfield County Tennis Program who have some expert pickleball instructors on their staff that will give some morning lessons. Register online at monroect.myrec.com and follow payment instructions. Beginner: Player has either never played pickleball or is a novice at playing.  Advanced Beginner: Player has had some court experience, but needs to refine their skills and learn the game better.  Low Intermediate: Player is starting to keep the ball in play, learning to serve, can volley, learning court positioning.This program is for new players or players who know very little of pickleball.All participants should bring their own paddle, wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Calling all pickleball players!Looking to have a spot to play during your summer mornings? Why not join our OPEN PLAY pickleball program. This is joint program with the Monroe Senior Center and the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department.Come and meet new people, play pickleball and get some fresh air and exercise at the Wolfe Park Courts. All levels are welcomed, but this is not lessons or a clinic program. It is group play and you should have the basic knowledge of pickleball. Bring your own racquet and ball to share. You should also wear comfortable clothing and proper footwear to be on the courts. We supply four courts (8A, 8B, 7A & 7B) and nets at select times on certain Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM    Summer Senior & Adult Open Play Pickleball for Players Ages 55 and older - Session 1 A Mondays
Calling all pickleball players!Looking to have a spot to play during your summer mornings? Why not join our OPEN PLAY pickleball program. This is joint program with the Monroe Senior Center and the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department.Come and meet new people, play pickleball and get some fresh air and exercise at the Wolfe Park Courts. All levels are welcomed, but this is not lessons or a clinic program. It is group play and you should have the basic knowledge of pickleball. Bring your own racquet and ball to share. You should also wear comfortable clothing and proper footwear to be on the courts. We supply four courts (8A, 8B, 7A & 7B) and nets at select times on certain Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. (We have other programs/camps going on at the other courts) Attendance will be taken and play rotates amongst participants registered for each session. Registration is limited to 25 participants per session. Session 1A 5/25-7/13 Mondays onlySession 1B 5/27-7/15 Wednesdays onlySession 2A 7/20-9/7  Mondays onlySession 2B 7/22-9/9  Wednesdays onlyThere is no pro rating or make-ups due to inclement weather.Fees: $15.00 per session per person Monroe Resident Monroe Senior Center Members$20.00 per session per person Non-Resident Monroe Senior Center Members(must supply valid ID card number of your membership to get the above rates)$25.00 per session per person Monroe resident 55 and older$50.00 per session per person Non resident 55 and olderThere is a promo code to enter when completing registration and you must go all the way through to the end in order to get the Monroe Senior Center member discount rate. You must call the Monroe Senior Center to get that code.Parking of your car in the paved lot of Wolfe Park requires a valid park sticker from May 23, 2026 through Monday, September 7, 2026.
