Men’s 35/over Slow Pitch Recreational Softball League 2024 - Men's 35/over Slow Pitch Recreational Softball League
As of 4/18/24 at 8:22 am this program is full and no longer taking registrations. The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department has a 35+ year old Men’s Slow Pitch Softball League that plays on select Friday nights and Sunday mornings from late April through early August at various fields in Wolfe Park.In order to be eligible to play you must be a full time year round resident of Monroe, work full time (35 or more hours) in Monroe or have graduated from Masuk High School. We currently have 11 teams and looking for one more team to join that meet the requirements. in addition, individuals looking to get placed on a team may also inquire and your contact info will be given to the managers of theam that have some openings. Dedicated team managers secure a sponsor and their team rosters/uniforms to participate.There is a yearly managers meeting. This year it will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2023 at 6:30 pm in the South Wing of Town Hall. League Team fee is $800.00 for 2024 season. This includes umpires, two cases of balls per team, trophy for winning teams and league coordinator fee.For further information contact Glenn Laudenslager at gllaudens@gmail.com or the Monroe Parks and Recreation Office at 203-452-2806 and speak Missy Orosz, Director of Parks & Recreation Department. All participants MUST register and have a family account. Please answer all questions correctly and be prepared to show a valid photo identification/license at anytime during the season and their information must match what is on the rosters. Your team manager will give you all the details as they finalize everything.
